Good for the soul

A wind-chapped face. Bloodshot eyes. Mild helmet hair. Inexplicably pursed lips.

Bad things all, and yet....

I'm not much of a winter rider, but I decided to man up and get out today. With a cotton base layer (a.k.a t-shirt) to help protect me from the cold, I put in a quick and satisfying 15 miles on the backroads of American Fork and Lehi.

Cycling is good for the body and the soul. But mostly the soul.

Nice work getting out in the cold. I've been climbing Suncrest to work the legs through the winter. It's actually a real nice ride on the way up, but I don't even want to talk about what the cold does to me on the way down. It's not pretty. I'll give you a call next time I go so I can share the suffering.

No invite for London? Rude. You know she's a die hard biker now.
